What is microneedling?
Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that involves pricking the skin with tiny sterilized needles using a pen-shaped tool. The needles create small wounds in your skin, which will signal to your body to create collagen and elastin to heal the tiny cuts.
What are the side effects of microneedling?
After treatment, your skin will be red with mild swelling for 24 to 48 hours. Some clients experience flaking and acne for the next few days, but this should subside in 3 to 5 days.
